Emerson Custom Stratocaster 5-Way Prewired Kit

This is a pre-wired 5-way Strat® harness (MFG# S5-250K-PREMIER) for the Stratocater® and similar guitars with 3 single-coil pickups. Fits most American Fender® Strats with no modifications required. Wired with 22 AWG vintage push-back wire for that vintage look and sound. If installing in an import guitar with metric sized pots, you may need to ream out the control plate holes to accept the slightly larger US-Spec pots and purchase US-Spec knobs.

Installation Tips for Knobs on Split Shaft Potentiometers
Our Emerson Pro Split Shaft Potentiometers are made to fit US spec 24 spline push-in knobs. Some US and import guitars will require new US spec knobs as even some US manufacturers use import spec parts that will not work with our potentiometers. We recommend that you do not rush the process of installing the knobs. If the knob is too tight and will not work, bend the top of the potentiometer shaft slightly so that when you push the knob in you do not damage the potentiometer shaft by applying too much downward pressure.
