Bad Dog Pickups for Telecaster® and Stratocaster® style guitars.
Pickups with the most vintage tone, character and timbre you can find at this price. Built with the same materials as the famous original vintage pickups but with modern materials.
General characteristics
- Winding : The copper wire used is 42AWG plain enamel and heavy formvar 42 AWG.
- Magnets : Equipped with Alnico V, II and III magnets, available in flat or staggered configurations.
- Winding Type : All our pickups are hand-wound, guaranteeing detailed attention and authentic sound.
- Availability : Bad Dog pills are made to order, with an approximate delivery time of 2 to 3 weeks.
Available Models
For Stratocaster®
Our Stratocaster® models are inspired by specific eras, recreating the classic sound of each decade:
- ST Vintage 57/59 : Bright and clear sound, perfect for a vintage tone from the late 50s.
- ST Vintage 62 : Offers a warm and balanced tone, ideal for those looking for the classic sound of the early 60s.
- ST Vintage 69 : Recreates the distinctive, crystalline tone of the late '60s, with a response rich in harmonics.
- ST Vintage Texas : Similar to the ST Vintage 62, but with a little more output on the bridge pickup, providing a warmer sound with greater presence.
For Telecaster®
Telecaster® pickups are also designed to replicate the iconic sound of different eras:
- TL 52 Pickups : Capture the twang and bite of the early '50s Telecasters®.
- TL 60 Pickups : They offer a slightly thicker and warmer sound, representative of the 60s models.
- TL 64 Pickups : Perfect for a versatile and balanced sound, characteristic of the Telecaster® of the mid-60s.
